Ricoh (Hong Kong) and Axisoft jointly develop school-based document management system

18-May-2007

18th May 2007, Hong Kong -- Axisoft joins Ricoh (Hong Kong) in the development of a school-based document management system (DMS). The centralized system manages students’ documents in various formats electronically. The new software will be built on the infrastructure of SQUARE collaboration technology.

A school-based document management system can benefit both teachers and students. School teachers will manage exam papers as well as homework within a few simple steps on the computer. Meanwhile, students and parents can make use of mobile devices to connect to the system via the Internet anytime, anywhere. They can upload or download homework, retrieve past examination results and follow up the learning progress.

The new DMS software will also help schools to develop a comprehensive syllabus to meet students’ growth. By integrating document scanning, filing and searching, the new DMS allows teachers to manage student records including exam results and reports at one single platform. Hence, teachers can make comprehensive evaluation on each student’s learning progress.

Below is the workflow of school-based document management system.
