System Administrator (Based in HK)

Location: Hong Kong

Duties:

  • Handle daily support of all applications supporting the banking Wealth Management business, identify the problem and provide solutions;

  • Conduct software application testing and sanity checks during regular IT maintenance work;

  • Participate in preparing ad-hoc reports for users;

  • Work closely with global IT teams to maintain the systems and infrastructure used by the applications;

  • Knowledge sharing/transfer within the team;

  • Participate in Business Continuity Planning and Exercise;

  • Required on shift basis 07:00 to 16:00 or 10:00 to 19:00.

Skills & Requirements:

  • High Diploma in Computer Science or related disciplines;

  • At least 3 years relevant experience;

  • Hands-on knowledge on Oracle 11g, MS SQL Server 2005/2008;

  • Hands-on knowledge on basic Unix commands and scripting;

  • Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to present information in a professional and mature manner;

  • Good Avaloq knowledge is preferred.
